Virumhallerne

Virumhallerne is a sports facility located in Virum, Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality. The Virum halls today consist of two halls, the original hall built in 1968 and a training hall built in 1997. The original Virumhallen was designed by the architects Gunnar Jensen and Finn Monies.
Virumhallerne is home to i.a. Virum Basketball Club, Virum-Sorgenfri Table Tennis Club, VSH 2002 and former Virum-Sorgenfri Handball Club. The spectator capacity in Hall 1 is 588 seated spectators and approx. 100 standing.
In addition to sports activities, Virumhallerne contains meeting rooms, etc. and can be used for concerts and the like.
The virus halls are located approx. 200 meters from the nearest S-train station, Virum Station.
