Criteria for GREEN SPORT FACILITY
GREEN SPORT FACILITY can be awarded to gymnasiums, sports areas, indoor swimming pools, ice rinks, and the like, if they make an extra efforts to protect the environment by fulfilling criteria described below.
About the Criteria
To be awarded the GREEN SPORT FACILITY the facility has to live up to the criteria described below.
- Mandatory criteria has to be fulfilled before being certified
- Point criteria gives between 1 and 5 points, depending on weightings of each criteria
All mandatory criteria and a minimum of 30% of the relevant point criteria should be fulfilled to be labelled GREEN SPORT FACILITY.

if you are interested in applying for the GREEN SPORT FACILITY label, you can contact HI (Halinspektørernesforening = the association of facility janitors) who will then assist with the application process.
